The captain had picked up his rifle and started shooting along side his men. The ferocious Sea Spider was not giving out. More men were cast into a cocoon by the giant sea spider's web. Smaller sea spiders immediately carried off those cocoons into the sea. 'Monkey boy! balls quick!', yelled the gunner who had just fired his last cannon. The cannon had proven ineffective against the sea spider. It had not moved from its attacking position. The boy had made a quick dash to the cannon balls and back to ther gunner. Meanwhile on the starboard, first mate Ol' John were struggling to cut off a few smaller sea spider. Their bit marks, though small, can be very fatal if its left too long without medication. The high pitch of squeaking of the Sea Spider was deafening.
The giant Sea Spider was the next most dangerous sea creatures to the deathly mermaids. Deathly mermaids are not easily to be dealt of than Sea Spider because they lure pirates to their death by consuming them.'Ye niver meet eye to eye with a mermaid, ye will fall deep and you will die', that was once a stranger in the tavern who said that. 'Thousand more dangerous than the Sea Spider', the man gulped down his rum and swipe his mouth with the back of his hand. Ol' John still remembering those words. 'Ti hell with it, Sea Spider, pain and crazy!', he jumped from the starboard down to the middle of the ship.
